Prabhakaran's great sacrifice

வாரிசுகளின் வாழ்வு வளம் பெற கடமை கண்னியம் கட்டுப்பாட்டு என்னும் கொள்கையை அடகுவைத்து அள்ள அள்ள குறையாத குன்று போல் செல்வம் ஈட்டும் அரசியல்வாதிகளுக்கிடையில் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டு இறுதியில் தன் உயிர் மட்டுமன்றி மனைவி, மகன், மகள் என்று தன் குடும்பத்தையே தமிழர்கள் உரிமைக்காக அர்ப்பணித்த பிரபாகரனின் தியாகத்தை நினைத்தால் இவர் வாழ்ந்த காலத்தில் நாமும் இருந்தோம் என்கிற நினைப்பே பெருமையாக உள்ளது.

Let me try my best to translate this..

"In the midst of politicians who earn mountainous wealth for the sake of comfortable life of their descendants by pawning their principles in the feet of others and lead a mean life, the great Prabhakaran has sacrificed his wife, daughter, sons .. his whole family, for the sake of Tamil's rights war. Thinking of his sacrifice one feels proud to live in the same period as this great man."


My sentiments matches with this. Think of this man's focus , goal, aim. He stood by his principle and died for it and sacrificed his whole family for it. I can compare him to the stature of the great people like Veera Pandiya Kattabomman or V.O.C.

Long live such genuine people! who stand for their principle. Not just words but lead with their actions.

Tamil Eelam

Srilanka has been habituated by two group of people , one from Orissa in India , initiated by the Son and daughter of Asoka the Great to spread Buddhism and another group from TamilNadu in India. These two groups from centuries had settled in the country and had been fighting with each other. Religious tolerance and secularisim and respect for each other had been never been existing and this is resulted in hatred and differences all long. Sinhalese being the majority had naturally has every chance and reason to bully the minorities.


What had happened in the past 27 years is very saddening and heart breaking. A race that had been beaten brutally, killed, chopped, raped, crushed to all the limits.

This gave rise to set of voices one a moderate voice in the name of Political parties who won a few elections but unable to protect its minority people. Then another voice surface which is the militant LTTE.

I am not here to judge who is right or who is wrong but as a person with a heart , my heart bleeds looking at the plight of the poor people. What they have done to deserve this holocaust?
What does the thousands and thousands of children, women and old people had done?
They were crying for help and even though the whole world watched , no one came to help them

Every religion preaches that God arrives and protects the poor and weak. Where is the God?
Where are the virtues called Justice and Equality?

Why is the common man so weak and impotent? Why there is no channel or a mean where a comman man can express his view and tell the mighty governments and politicians to stop all this nonsense. When there are so many people with a fairness in their heart feels and saddened by the cruel happenings, why can't anyone help the needy.

I don't know the answer for all these questions. But only thing I wish is, there should be a channel for every common man to express their views and make the countries, governments, UN and mighty USA to listen.

Unless such a channel exists for public to express their views freely and justly, the same story will continue everywhere. There will be lot of oppressions happening everywhere every day , the mighty will be bullying the weak and people would have to just watch impotently.
